Help and support
Create, join and leave
Open Studio, create a game, add photos and place their locations on the map. Open a room and share its code or invite link with someone you trust. Players choose a display name, inspect each photo and submit a map guess. Use Leave game to exit; it does not delete server records. Hosts can leave the screen without stopping the room, or use End game to stop it. For inappropriate content, leave and use Report an issue. Email reports are handled manually; no room or photo identifier is attached automatically.
Drive access and disconnect
For link imports, set General access to Anyone with the link → Viewer in Google Drive. A folder must also expose its files. The app does not host photos and cannot restore deleted or restricted originals. Optional upload/conversion asks Google for limited drive.file access. If authorization is denied, retry Save rounds; if it keeps failing, use Disconnect Google Drive below and authorize again. If revocation fails, also remove Memo Guesser in your Google Account third-party connections. Disconnecting is not file deletion or public-link revocation.
Formats and troubleshooting
JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP and AVIF are supported; HEIC/HEIF, TIFF, BMP, ICO and common RAW formats may be converted locally to JPEG. Ordinary images: up to 20 MB; conversion sources: up to 100 MB; up to 12 photos per add batch. Not every camera encoding works on every device. Try a smaller JPEG for memory or conversion errors, keep the app in the foreground while saving and check your connection. For unavailable photos, check Drive sharing and whether the original still exists. If a room fails to open, check its code and ask the host whether it has ended. Map search can be temporarily unavailable; place a pin manually.
Data deletion and contact
There is no Memo Guesser password account. Anonymous creator access belongs to this installation; losing it may prevent managing your games in Studio. Hiding games, removing individual rounds, revoking file sharing in Drive and disconnecting Google are separate actions. To request deletion of identifiable app data, access or correction, email beyoung.belcrew@gmail.com before clearing app storage if possible. Explain the request without passwords, tokens or private photo links; we will ask only for evidence needed to locate and verify ownership. Uninstalling does not automatically delete server data. You can review Privacy policy for retention and anonymous-identification limits.
For store reviewers
No Memo Guesser login or payment is required. Review the public pages, create a game in Studio and test public Drive links without Google authorization. A second browser/device can join the room as player. Optional upload requires your own Google account and approved platform OAuth configuration. Contact us for a current consented review fixture; no permanent room code or credentials are published here. Report handling and any additional user-content safeguards must be evaluated before store submission.
What deletion actually does
Deleting a game in Studio hides it (soft deletion) and stops active rooms, but retains the game, rounds, Drive IDs/resource keys, coordinates, clues, player names, answers and session history. Removing an individual round when no room is active deletes that round record, including its Drive identifiers, coordinates and clue; it does not erase prior answers or session history. Neither operation deletes Drive photos or revokes their public links. For a verified erasure request beyond these controls, contact beyoung.belcrew@gmail.com; we will explain what can be located and erased after checking ownership and any applicable limits.
